Hi ! I’m Carolina Caicedo,

I just moved back to Florida from Bogota, Colombia where I lived for 2 years. Before that I was living in Miami, FL and New York City while I was studying Graphic Design. I lived there for about 7 years where I got my Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts and worked in multiple studios. Having grown in different cultures and countries gave me the “curiosity” to expand into Arts. As a very young girl I was always into the Arts and creative with school projects and friends. Leaving Colombia at a very young age, ( 17 ) to live alone with my sister in Switzerland gave me the opportunity to learn a new language while studying abroad. For my first two years there I went to school to learn French and then Business School. While in class I would make drawings and my teacher told me : - Carolina, with such a gift you should study Arts.” Following his advice I entered the School of Arts and also took a workshop to prepare for my Portfolio preparations: Later on I was accepted in the School of Visual Arts in New York City.

 

I love Graphic Design and I would like to work in this area full - time. During quarantine I’ve been painting a lot and learning.
